Cristy Bauer

Associate Principal

Cristy Bauer joined Nicolet High School as an Associate Principal in 2021. She is a graduate of Carroll College and earned her Master’s Degree from the College of Education and Leadership at Cardinal Stritch University. An educator for over two decades, Ms. Bauer began her career as an English teacher before serving as an instructional coach for eight years in several districts in the greater Milwaukee area. She worked as a school administrator for the past four years. During her career, she began a network for Literacy Specialists and Coaches,  presented at WSRA, earned her mentoring certificate from the SEWNTP, and participated in Columbia University Teachers College Reading Workshop Coaching Institute. 

Ms. Bauer is a learner and collaborator at heart. She is a firm believer in the development of powerful literacy skills in students to help them “read” the world around them. Building positive relationships with students, staff, and families is a priority to Ms. Bauer, and she is dedicated to celebrating the diversity and advocating for equity in our Nicolet Learning Community.
