With staff and students being out for Spring Break, construction crews took full advantage as lots of exiting progress was made 🏗
On the exterior of the building, you will have noticed that the front canopy has been removed and the concrete foundations have been completed. This was completed over spring break so that crews can be as efficient during the summer blitz. In the coming weeks, the canopy will start taking shape.

The Nicolet theater department will be presenting their Children's play - Charlie and the Chocolate Factory on April 20 & 21 🍫
Based on the famous novel by Roald Dahl, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory has the world-famous Willy Wonka opening the gates to his mysterious factory…but only to a lucky few. Young Charlie Bucket and four other golden ticket winners will embark on a life-changing journey through Wonka’s world of pure imagination including chocolate waterfalls, nutty squirrels and the great glass elevator, all to be revealed by Wonka's curious Oompa-Loompas.
Due to limited seating, and patrons acquiring tickets and then not attending the performance, ticket holders must arrive at least 10 minutes before show time to ensure their seats. At that time, unclaimed seats will be given to patrons on a waiting list who could not acquire tickets.

What you need to know about Prom this year.
Date: April 27, 2024
Location: The River Club-Mequon, WI
Time: 6:00 pm-10:00 pm
- Dinner will begin at 6:30 pm.
- As tables are completely seated, they will get dismissed to get their food.
- This year dinner will be a buffet. It will consist of salad, fruit, chicken tenders and waffle fries, a variety of pizzas, and a mac and cheese bar. We will have a mousse for dessert. The entire meal is peanut free. We also will have a vegan and gluten free option which will be available if requested.
Tickets on sale through Friday, April 19.
Cost: $65:00

- Students wanting to pay cash for tickets can do so during lunch or in the library.
Guest Forms: Students who would like to bring a guest from another school, must complete a guest form. Forms are available in the high school office and library. Guest forms must be turned in by the end of day on April 17 to the high school office.
The Red Cross Club will be hosting a Blood Drive April 16th in Gym 2 from 9am to 2pm.
The United States alone relies on at least 38,000 pints of red blood cells a day to help treat patients in need. Help maintain the blood supply. Each donation can help save up to 3 lives. Staff and students 16 years old and up are encouraged to donate.

Nicolet Union High School is seeking nominations for the Nicolet High School Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2024. The 2024 Athletic Hall of Fame inductees will be honored at a special induction ceremony, which will coincide with a home Nicolet Football game on September 20th, 2024. Nominations can be submitted year-round, but nominations must be submitted by June 1st, 2024 to be considered for the 2024 class.

Nicolet students took part in the German Day Competition at UW-Madison. The event brought schools from around the state to compete in seven different events. Buoyed by four perfect scores, the Nicolet contingent earned 2nd place in this year's competition.

The Nicolet Forensics Team competed in a tournament last week at Brookfield East. Anaiya Deacon took home her third 1st place trophy in a row in the Impromptu category 🏆🏆🏆
She has won every tournament competition she competed in this year and now the team goes to the state competition in Sun Prairie in April.

On March 16th, NHS students took part in the AATG Southeast Wisconsin Regional German Pronunciation Contest. Held at Greenfield High, the event required students to present a poem and then make a 90 second extemporaneous presentation. Nicolet had an excellent showing, making up over half of all high school state qualifiers from southeastern Wisconsin. A special shout out to sophomore German One student Christian Ellner who earned a rare 41 score on the 40 point scale. Asha Langewisch & Victoria Jewell have been selected as a Service Above Self recipient who demonstrates commitment to the community through service and volunteerism, impeccable character, and high academic potential and performance.
Every year, the Rotary Club of Milwaukee celebrates the success of local high school students through the annual Service Above Self Awards.
Asha will receive a $50 cash award, a $50 cash gift to the charity of her choice, and a certificate.

3 students from Concordia University's Athletic Trainer Program visited Nicolet to speak with the students about the program and the career 🩹
Team 4786 - Nicolet FEAR competed in the Wisconsin Regional event this past weekend at the UW-Panther arena with 53 other teams from Wisconsin and the Midwest. Adapting throughout the tournament, Team 4786 rose from a 54th place start to finish ranked 15th by the end of the qualification round. Partnering with teams from Mukwonago High School and Marquette University High School - our alliance ran the table through the Tournament Bracket and won the Wisconsin Regional Championship, earning an invitation to the World Championships in Houston, TX. Team 4786 earned its third straight Engineering Inspiration Award, which celebrates outstanding success in advancing respect and appreciation for engineering within a team’s school and community. This award earns a team the honor of competing at the World Championships.
