Nicolet Union High School has a Student of the Month program to help promote academic achievement, academic growth, leadership, and resilience in the classroom. Each month, each academic department will be selecting a Student of the Month who has demonstrated and displayed these characteristics. Today we recognize the valuable work of school resource officers during National School Resource Officer Appreciation Day 👮♀️
SROs are carefully selected, specifically trained, sworn law enforcement officers assigned to work with schools using community-oriented policing concepts. Nicolet's SRO Marissa Myers became a police officer with the goal of becoming an SRO and says that she has her dream job here at Nicolet. Her favorite part of her job is the relationships she has built with students and staff.

Nicolet senior Ayahmi Johnson auditioned and won a spot on the Civic Music Showcase Recital 🎶
She also was one of four winners of the competition and was awarded a $1,500 scholarship ❗
The CIVIC MUSIC MKE High School Competition is a well-regarded Milwaukee competition for accomplished high school age musicians. Musicians compete for the opportunity to perform on the Showcase Recital and to be one of four musicians to receive a total of $1,500 in Young Artist Scholarships.

The Nicolet Theater Department will be presenting Shrek, The Musical on February 29, March 1 and March 2 at 7:00pm & March 3 at 2:00pm 🎭
