Members of German Club gathered on Wednesday for their holiday party which included sampling German holiday treats and building and then "selling" their cookie house creations. The winning house was built by Josie Breland, Piper Grimes and Lauren Weber.
Due to the forecasted hazardous travel for this evening, the Nicolet Union High School campus will close at 3:30 PM on Thursday, December 22nd. All bus routes will be running, as scheduled, and all students MUST be picked up by 3:30 PM.
All Nicolet Union High School events and activities (including all athletic practices and games) are canceled and/or postponed for Thursday, December 22nd.

The Best Buddies holiday party during enrichment on Tuesday was the largest BB gathering of the year.The students brought food, caught up on life, and had a chance to hang out before the holidays and final exams.
December 8th members of the German Honor Society spent the morning with Glen Hills German students mentoring them, teaching them German & sharing tips on what it takes to be successful at the high school level. The highlight was a tour of the Milwaukee Pretzel Company,where they learnied what it takes to start their own businesses, tried their hand at making their own pretzels and enjoyed sampling the wares.
Orchestra Concert will be rescheduled for after winter break.

Students in Dawn Baldwin's Intro to Health Careers students worked with CNA Melissa Taylor from Froedert Hospital on Infection Control and PPE.
French Club had a Yule Log Cake Bake Off Wednesday morning. Fourteen teams entered the competition. Bakers did an amazing job on both looks and flavors! Bravo à tous!
On Friday, January 6, Nicolet will induct three new athletes into the Nicolet Athletic Hall of Fame: William Trosper (Class of ’70-Football/Track), Tom Haig (Class of ’80-Diving) and Molly Kanter (Class of '87-Swimming).
The Nicolet Athletic Hall of Fame honors former student athletes, coaches and other individuals who have contributed outstanding accomplishments towards Nicolet Union High School athletics.
On January 6th, there will be a dinner in the Knights Hall at Nicolet Union High School beginning at 5:00pm, followed by the induction ceremony, halftime recognition and unveiling of the plaques on the “Wall of Fame.”

The Nicolet Recreation Department cordially invites senior citizens to a "Taste Of Fine Arts", a premiere matinee performance. This year's show "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" is scheduled for Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at 1:00pm (curtain time) at Nicolet High School and performed by the Nicolet theater department and students🎭
FREE Tickets are available for pick-up. To obtain your tickets, simply come to the Nicolet Recreation Department Office, 6701 N. Jean Nicolet Road, Glendale, WI 53217. The office is open from 7:30am - 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. Did you know the National Suicide and Crisis Lifeline number changed? 9️⃣8️⃣8️⃣ is the new three digit number designated to connect people with trained counselors who can listen, provide support, and connect you with resources. The Student Services Department and the HSO administrators spread the word on this new national resource and encourage you to do the same! There is hope, there is help. End the stigma on mental health by encouraging others to reach out when they are in crisis.
